However, public awareness about reporting procedures and rights remains relatively low, which often leads to underreporting of cyber offenses.

In conclusion, with the internet becoming an inseparable part of modern life, cyber crimes under IT Act 2000 continue to be a growing concern. Strengthening cyber law in India through stricter implementation, regular updates, and greater digital literacy will ensure that citizens are better equipped to navigate and secure their digital spaces responsibly.
