Took me three moves to figure this out, but here goes.
Every time I relocated within Dubai I just Googled “storage Dubai” and called whoever ranked first. Big mistake. Prices varied wildly and I got burned once by hidden fees for access visits.
What actually helped this time was doing a bit of comparison before picking up the phone. I found a decent comparison page at

which listed several companies side by side with rough price ranges. Not perfect, but it saved me from calling ten places cold.
My actual process, roughly:
* Check unit sizes carefully. A “small” unit differs a lot between providers.
* Ask specifically about access fees. Some charge per visit after a free monthly allowance.
* Ask if climate control is included or costs extra. In Dubai summers this matters a lot.
* Get the quote in writing before signing anything.
I also cross-referenced a couple of providers by searching their names on this Dubizzle listing site to see if anyone had posted reviews or complaints there. A few red flags came up for one company I had almost booked.
Ended up paying about 15% less than my previous storage contract for a bigger unit. Patience and a bit of homework genuinely paid off here.

Your experience with storage services in Dubai echoes my own frustrations with online gaming. I too initially went for the top ‘pkr98game’ results at get app , only to find hidden costs and poor service. It’s high time we demand transparency and fair pricing from these platforms.
